I really like these lines by Charles Bukowski.
The circumstances of life can’t be the cause of happiness, otherwise we could be “clubbed into dank submission”. So, “be on the watch” or be in the here and in the now.
“There is light somewhere” or rather, get to know that “somewhere” is your own mind.
